Our ambassador and Team GB Taekwondo athlete Jack Spall recently surprised a Year 6 schoolboy, who lost his home and all his possessions in a devastating fire, with a visit to his school in west London during some down time. Rehaan, who is passionate about sport, especially football, is currently living in a B&B with his family with nothing to their name as a result of the blaze. Jack, who last month won a bronze medal at the Luxembourg Open, spent several hours at the school chatting with the children and treated Rehaan and his classmates to a Taekwondo lesson which they all loved. To top it all off the Norfolk native also gifted Rehaan a signed Team GB Taekwondo shirt. The fact that Jack still manages to find time in his intense schedule to visit schools in partnership with Premier Foundation to inspire children to be more active is remarkable. We at Premier Foundation are delighted that Jack is one of our ambassadors and we look forward to further visits during his down time between competitions and training to disadvantaged and disengaged schools. His Taekwondo lessons to the children and motivating talks represent everything that Premier Foundation stands for; to actively change lives.
